One day, I was reminiscing about accomplishments in my life while getting my daughter ready for preschool, and it hit me; I was lost. I’ve done amazing things, but I couldn’t take care of my own daughter’s hair. Sure, I could brush it, but that was that.
I had absolutely no idea how to do it. I would see her classmates with hairstyles which made them look so cute and girlish.
My girl looked like a cave child.
The breaking point was when a mom asked if I was a stay at home dad. I said yes, and asked her how she knew.
She pointed at my daughter and said, “Her hair”.
This had to stop!
