Getting started

1. Prepare your manuscript. Creative Conitnuum can assist with transcribing, editing or ghostwriting.
   We need just your text in a word processor file. Microsoft Word or Word Perfect work fine. Don't spend a great deal of time setting up fonts and formatting... all we need are your words. Provide both a final copy of your text on disk and printed on paper.
   Paperback books and books with dust jackets need cover art, including a short summary and author's biography and photograph.
2. If you will be including photograhs in your book, don't embed your photos and images within your word processor file. This makes the process much more difficult for both you and us!
   • You can scan the pictures as 300-dpi JPGs or we can scan them for you.
   • Label each picture with a sticky note or give them a unique file name.
   • Write the picture number or file name in the margin of your printed manuscript.
   • Write all captions in a separate file with the picture number or file name clearly associated with the caption.
