This book is for everyone who longsto create stunning images with Photoshop.![]() Over the past twenty-five years, Tom Underhill has designed and published hundreds of books, brochures, newspapers, corporate identities, packages and other printed pieces. In addition to being a publisher, he's been a principal with an advertising agency and an executive at an Internet design firm. Tom has personally scanned and retouched thousands of photographs. He has created and given more presentations than he can remember. He has designed and executed websites for years. Part of what made each of these projects unique is my perspective on imagery.
Almost everything Tom does is custom. At Creative Continuum, we don't have any preset templates. We might base a book on another we've published, but every work is unique in one way or another. Each presentation he has created starts from scratch, often with a blank slide--or at most a background. Website graphics may begin with a photograph or a stock image, but get tweaked and changed to become his own.
![]() Tom's past two Zing! books focused on the day-to-day methodologies that improve your scanned images and teach you to retouch your photos. We intend this book to address a different agenda: a bit of fun with artistic applications. Some of these techniques build on the basics in the first two Zing! books. Others take the concepts in a different direction. This book shares his Photoshop skills achieved in more than thirty years of daily usage. Regardless, you can discover hours of artistic satisfaction that will impress your family and friends.
Tom's latest book is a fun and easy-to-use, project-based approach to artistic Photoshop.
This book will make your Photoshop designs stand head and shoulders above the rest!
